From here on out (I'm worried about Rolen), would you say his value will end up being more comparable to an Wells, a Bay or a Pena?

I just dont know what to think of this guy...

Not close to any of those players. I expect nothing the rest of the way from him but a lot of time off.

Peddle him for something now.

i think wmpena is a good comparison..both are injury prone and you don't know how much PT either of them will get for the last 70 games

really? i think it's hard for us to guess not really knowing his real physical condition. i traded Beltre for pitching help , expecting Rolen to put up better 2nd half #s of the two. i think if you are leading way in your division and can weather next few weeks while he gets in sync, could be rewards come playoff time!

I'm just going by what I see on TV when I watch the Cardinals & other local reports.

The Cardinals have no reason to really play Rolen regularly. Nunez has done a nice job as a fill-in for him.

I'm a big Card's fan and love Rolen, but I have to agree that Rolen won't be worth much in the 2nd half. There will probably be WW pick-ups with similar numbers, so if you can deal Rolen for someone of value, I say do it.
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike
