i noticed that hawkins got the save. is walker out because he is irratic or are they trying a committee?

Jul 18 Walker had a sore right shoulder after making 31 pitches while blowing a save and taking the loss in Saturday's meeting with the Los Angeles Dodgers. As a result, the Giants decided to hold him out of Sunday's contest, a move that was considered purely precautionary. LaTroy Hawkins was used to finish off the Dodgers in the ninth in Walker's stead.

Advice: Walker's ailment is not serious, and he should be available on Monday, if needed. In 41 relief appearances this season, he is 2-2 with a 4.31 ERA and 14 saves.
