Is Soriano playing hurt? His numbers during the past month have been less than stellar:

11 Runs
3 HR
12 RBI
.218 AVG

I'm thinking about putting in an offer for him, but these numbers are a little alarming.

nope, he's not hurt, just in a slump. he tends to be a streaky player
