Looks like the unofficial 1-year suspension is still in effect.

Hell he's been there this long, he's just going to ride out the year in my DL spot if need be. I've gotten used to him. It's kind of like that ugly coffee table you just can't throw away.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

there's no reason to own Bonds in a non-keeper or dynasty league this year. I have been saying it for months.

I dumped him for Pat the Bat the day his second surgery was announced and told the Cafe that he wasn't worth a DL slot. Burrell .286 19 HR 68 RBI 40 R. Freel moves into the DL slot when Eaton is activated.

There's no reason to drop Bonds unless you're desperate for the DL spot.

Yup, you never know. And if you did then you should go play the million dollar lotto.

I think he is done. I'm not sure what type of hitter he will be when he returns.

In an interview with Rodney Peete he didn't sound too positive. He is still not doing any baseball-related activities and indicated in the interview that he "plays to win championships". With No chance of SF winning anything but the mediocrity award this season, he will not return. IF he does you MAY get 1 month of rust. My 2 cents. I dropped him in 2 leagues for pitchers who I can rotate in.
