I wonder if he does have a shot at a batting title or rookie of the year? Does anyone know what the cutoff is and if he played everyday from here on out if he has a shot? I doubt he hits this way for much longer and I agree with a potential cold spell coming, but damn....

As much as I like Carmen Electra, I'll never be able to have any relationship with her. Same with Chris Shelton. As long as he's on my waiver wire. I can't pick him up. Just look at this team:

i think your point was a, "hey, look at my team" not to really comment on shelton, but if you don't think he's doing better than some of those guys you have on there, you're crazy.
i keep waiting for shelton to come down to earth. the guy leading our league has him and he doesn't need that free boost. wah.

Saw him play in person Sunday. Impressive. But as noted earlier he does have a K ratio that leads a lot of folks to believe that his high average is a Bo Hart-ish mirage. But the power is no illusion.
As good as Shelton is, and will be, also make note that it is Curtis Granderson (not necessarily Shelton) who was/is still considered the Tigers #1 position prospect. But that Tiger OF is awfully crowded this year.
