A riddle: How is A.J. Burnett like Daniel Cabrera?

Postby Doughhead » Fri Jul 15, 2005 11:05 am

Answer: They both either pitch a shutout or get shelled. The only problem is, I own Burnett and never thought I was getting Daniel Cabrera when I drafted him. !+)

Wildly erratic and borderline out of control anyone?

Sorry, but he will not be duplicating Santana's 2nd half of '04.

Cabrera is one of a handful of players that can toss 100pmh -- check out his last few games, he's putting it together now and has the possibility of having a monster second half.

I'd throw cabrera in with a very slim handful of pitchers that have the stuff/ceiling to have a Santana second half.

spectacular guy to grab now with +++++upside.[/i]

Cabrera's 2nd half will equal that of Nuke Laloosh for the Durham Bulls. He's the same pitcher. Does no one realize this?

Cabrera is a free agent in my 12 team league. I have a roster space, should I pick him up to at least spot start?
