I dont know about the mlb, but I remember reading a while ago that Baseball America found the average height of 30 or so of their top rated pitcher prospects to be 6'4", and there were quite a few of those who were taller than 6'5". These prospects are probably significantly taller than the average SP in mlb, but I thought I would throw it out there.
