Sadly, eminists are some of the people I have the most contempt for; people like Burke are just so annoying and they see everything as an attack on women.
Anyone heard of the all women's golf club in Canada? Rick Reilly wrote about it a long time ago. You don't see anyone whining about that do you?
If its a private club, I respect their right to choice who they allow in. That's why its a private club.

I was referring to the way she would play in the tournament, not the fact that she made it. With the way she folded at the Womens Open could you imagine her playing Augusta even on Thursday and Friday?
Personally, I think if a female is good enough to compete with the men, then more power to her. I don't see anything wrong with more competition at all.
Now, is Wie good enough? I don't think so just yet, but down the road a few years is a whole different story.
Time will tell.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I see what you're saying (and I tend to agree with you on it) but I also see where the other side is coming from.....sorta. If they were just another private club, there's no problem. The little catch -- for me at least -- comes when you realize that they hold one of if not the most prestigous golf tournaments in the world and putting that situation in the spotlight makes some uncomfortable for whatever reason. I realize that it's a bit of a stretch, but I can see the validity of both sides of the argument.
come on, I'd rather see her win this match play event and go to the Masters than some other random Public Links guy.
You can't bash her for trying, and you obviouly can't bash her if she qualifies for the Masters by herself instead of by some "special exemption." Which of course, the Masters would never EVER give out to her if they didn't have to.
