ESPN Insider wrote:The Rockies aren't done dealing yet. According to the Denver Post, the team is moving forward on a trade that would send Shawn Chacon to the Yankees for a minor-leaguer capable of contributing next season. Chacon has made just one start since returning from a hamstring injury, and will likely have to prove his health before a deal goes through.

HAHAHHAH I laughed out loud when I read this. I remember 2-3 years ago, he was on my Smallworld team. He was doing great and decided to pick him up, next outting -120 points!!! That's unheard of! It's like 15 points for 1 inning! Later, on the Smallworld message boards, if a pitcher got hammered it was known as "He got Chacon'd!"

Whew would be a good laugh if they get him ;-D

I'd imagine he'd start until Brown is back and then move to the bullpen. Just a joke of a trade. God I'm sick just thinking about it.

Thanks, forgot all about Sturtze. Guess if Chacon's not going to have a defined role in the pen and he'd be forced to start then it's a terrible move for the Yanks.

Just out of curiosity, is there anything like a FireBrianCashman.com like there was for FireRonZook.com? :-b

With all the Yankee fans here who despise Cash I'd imagine it would instantly become one of the more popular sites around ;-)

Ok being a yankees fan in Denver I can say that Shawn Chacon is the worst pitcher I've ever seen ever...Watching him suck in the bullpen last year was hilarious...The guy is a whiney baby as well. He stinks x10000 The yanks shoulda gone after Kennedy if anyone...CHOKIN STINKS!
I'm too lazy to make a sig at the moment

WFAN just said during the middle of a hockey interview that they have breaking Yankee news to report after the interview.

Please God don't tell me Chacon is a Yankee. Please. :~(
