Chipper Jones

Chipper is scheduled to come off the DL this coming Monday (7/18). What is everyones thoughts regarding him fromt he remained of the year? What kind of stats does everyone expect?

i think he will be solid the rest of the year... hopefully he is completely healthy,,,, and when u consider how well he was doing in april and may,, and add to that how awesome andruw has been lately,,, chipper should be able to produce some good numbers the rest of the season

I think he'll be fine, it'll be a boost for the lineup. Last year, Larry hit 16 HRs and 52 RBIs in August and September. No way he gets that hot again, but you never know.

as far as predictions go, I think there are too many unknown variables to make any accurate guesses.

IMHO, if you have him, I'd trade him right before he gets back. I don't expect he'll have a time later in the season where his value will be greater.

chipper is one of the best hitters in the nl. of course he will be good.

Wait a minute. Isn't his foot still bothering him? This is not a situation where he is completely healed correct? He may still need surgery from what I understand.

I would not expect him to stay healthy. This has been bothering him all season and I don't understand why everyone thinks it will just go away.
