Hopefully in 2006, we'll see the first year of what should hopefully be the Rays from 2006 with Bankston at 1B, DY in right, etc. Or, they may be prepping for 2007 when more of the pitchers may be ready. Anyway, it should be soon when we'll see what the emphasis on the minors has created.

Bankston has really come along very well. I doubted his season last year cause he was 20 and repeating a level in Low A. But he has been growing by leaps and bounds since then it seems and becoming a very legitimate top prospect (top 100 possibly). I expected him to have some trouble at least after jumping over High A so quickly, but he hasn't missed a beat.

I would of doubted him as a future 1B of the Rays, but he is making me a believer more and more with every game he plays.

Hybrid,

If Bankston at 1st
Cantu at 2nd
Upton at ss
Hall at C
and Crawford, Baldelli and DY in the OF

who do you see as being the 3B in 2007/8 and our starting rotation (I'm guessing Niemann and Townsend would be two).

Thanks.
