I got him in a lot of leagues, and would like to know where he ranks among ML OFs. I'm thinking of dealing him for another OF, but would like to know if he's capable of keeping this up. Thoughts

Wilson is a fine outfielder with plenty of fantasy value while he is in Colorado however no one (in their right mind) will trade you Sosa (or a Sosa caliber player) straight up.As Ukjohn said he will get you plenty of r,rbi & hr and oddly enough why trade one quality OF for another? Perhaps if you were trading for a different positional need...
Well, he is on pace for 140 rbi, 100 runs, and 35 jax. If he gets his sb's on track his history suggests 25ish. His average may fall a little but as long as he is in Coor's I think it will rest somewhere between .280 and .294. To me all this looks promising as long as he can stay healthy.
I have Wilson on my squad, and I don't think I would feel comfortable trading him straight up for another outfielder, with the exception of the very top guys (like Vlad and Barry). Sosa has been hurt, he's corking, his numbers are down ...
On the other hand, if you can fill another need by dealing Preston, that's another story. A top pitcher or infielder shouldn't be hard to get considering's Wilson's numbers and his home field advantage.
since when did Sosa stop being a top guy? Just because of the toe injury and suspension?

I traded Preston and Charles Johnson for Posada and Hillenbrand. Some said I got too little back, but I clearly addressed my most pressing need, so I was pleased.
Sosa tailed off some last year. He is getting older (listed as 34) and has looked awful ever since he got hit in the head earlier this year. Plus if you believe as many do that he juiced then he is in for a dramatic drop off.
