I recommend reading "The Motley Fool Investment Guide", and "The Only Investment Guide You'll ever need". Solid books for the person who wants to know more about investing. Read stuff online about the Roth IRA, TIPS, etc. It's quite easy to be a millionaire by the age of 65- you just need to learn how to save and invest intelligently.
It doesn't matter what you invest in, first you have to understand the risks and what you're getting into.
