How the hell does Li kill a cheetah with his bare hands? Punching? Choke hold? Don't see it. Cheetah.

I didn't say he had to kill it. He just has to win the fight. Cheetahs aren't that big, usually 80 to 130 lbs.

Somewhere, someplace those were famous last words. :-D

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Jet Li is 5'4" 145 pounds - no claws, teeth not too sharp, bleeds easily. Top speed: 15 mph tops.

Cheetah has Jet for breakfast, makes a sandwich for lunch and saves the bones for soup.

That's so funny! The first thing it made me envision was a Far Side comic with two gazelle's standing around. The caption reads as Pogo's quote, and in the background a cheetah is about to pounce on the quoted gazelle.

If you've ever read Far Side, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

So what? They aren't running a race.

Oh yes they are. As soon as Jet sees the cat it becomes a race.

The top speed is only relevant for how long the "fight" lasts.

Anyone who tries to run from a cheetah is dead. Better option is to stay and fight. Think Mongoose vs. Cobra. :-)

I think Jet's best move would either be to pull off the Kiss of the Dragon (if you don't know, don't ask - trust me it's bad ass :-] ) or swipe Patrick Swayze's "Heart Clutch" from the American classic Road House.
