I will respectfully disagree. Why bring up two of your best prospects and begin there arbitration clocks, when you can stick them in the minors and let them DEVELOP? Especially in the case of Upton who has something like 25 errors.

should----NO
could-----YES...

they definitely are both good enough to have been in tampa in april,,, but as garf stated why start the clock,,, when considering their age and such they could definitely use some more seasoning...... but i would expect to possibly see delmon in september,,, and maybe upton a little before that....

that is tru rump but i still would rather that they traded Lugo and Huff for young pitching and then put Young and Upton in the lineup

I doubt they should have been there as soon as April, but I do believe Delmon Young SHOULD be up soon if not already. At the very least get him up to AAA. Upton's a tough call due to his defense. They need to figure out what to do with him and soon. Also, the team draws pathetic attendance. Having two talented future stars like Young and Upton on the team soon could only help in that regard, if it's even still possible to get TB fans to care about their team.

I can't wait to see Upton and Delmon in the line up with Crawford, it gives me a good feeling just thinking about it. ;-D

If Tampa can put a winning team on the field, Delmon has all it takes to become the new face of baseball. I've made several attempts to acquire him in all leagues I'm in and been rebuked in all of them :-/
