Gomes= Good OBP, bad average, Ks too much...decent power/speed. Good player, but will not be All-Star caliber.
Shelton= Good bat but really doesn't have a position. I think he'll be a marginal starter with poor defense.
Stauffer= Very good starter, but I don't see him being a perennial All-Star. He has a good feel for his pitches, but his upside is limited because he doesn't have plus-plus stuff. He's a great pitcher (pitch being the key part of the word), but lacks the upside of the kids who have the 12-6 break on the curve and the electrifying fastball.
