I was going to say that, but I knew sooner or later you would for me.

I just would have thought that a 21/22 year old like Stauffer who was the fourth pick in the 2003 draft who has pitched at least 5 innings in all 11 major-league starts would qualify for such a list.

Francisco Liriano - Left handed starting pitcher for the Twins. Only 21 right now and doing very, very well in Triple-A.

And did anyone mention Conor Jackson for the Snakes?

Gomes= Good OBP, bad average, Ks too much...decent power/speed. Good player, but will not be All-Star caliber.
Shelton= Good bat but really doesn't have a position. I think he'll be a marginal starter with poor defense.
Stauffer= Very good starter, but I don't see him being a perennial All-Star. He has a good feel for his pitches, but his upside is limited because he doesn't have plus-plus stuff. He's a great pitcher (pitch being the key part of the word), but lacks the upside of the kids who have the 12-6 break on the curve and the electrifying fastball.

I'm not saying that Stauffer is or will get this good, but Maddux made a career out of being a pitcher as have numerous other all-stars. I don't think Stauffer will end up that good, but I would like to note that his slider is certainly a plus pitch.

Stauffer has to be up there and Id think that Upton goes in at SS because his biggest issue is that he is just making youthful mistakes which can be fixed I would put Liriano up there for sure
