Give up on Piazza?

Also, should I use my DL spot for Jeff Zimmerman instead of Piazza?

I don't think Zimmerman is even worth holding onto, because he hasn't pitched in 18 months, and the Rangers probably won't give him back the closer's job until possibly next season. If Urbina is traded, Cordero would be the new closer. If you don't have any other injured players you need the DL slot for, I'd hold Piazza untol it is certain he's done for the season. If you do get more injuries and need the roster space, I would drop him at that point.

I don't have an opinion on Zim but I would drop Piazza. I dropped him and if he is picked up, let the other guy waste the space. If he is not, I will monitor closely and hope to be the first to grab him if it looks like he may return. I don't see him risking it if the Mets are out of contention, groin injuries can be nagging if not given proper time to heal.
