Go to the Audio Section and you can Download so many shows for free Its unbelievable. Its like bootleggers paradise. Warning its mostly Jam Bands although 311 is on there....

Grateful Dead shows = 2600!!!

A bunch of yonder mountain. No Phish or Widespread.

But anyways lots of smaller jam bands. Its a pretty amazing site.

I just downloaded the June 25th 1995 show I went to in 8th Grade at RFK Stadium. Dead and Dylan...Sweet!

I've seen that site before, it's incredible. I think the idea is that they save all these audio files in formats that don't decay the way MP3s do, so they last for ages and ages. But they don't just do music - you can go on and download some movies, and books, and web pages from years ago. Pretty incredible. I've been downloading and burning concerts steadily, usually decent sound quality.

You can download the Original copy in that quality which is like a gig or you can do like an mp3 high quality which is like 250 megs...

its pretty awesome...I'm happy!

its a good site. there is also a program that is called furthur that is the same sort of idea but it is p2p. furthurnet.org. i havent run the program in a while so i dont remember what bands are listed and if it is still being updated.

Yea Further was cool but it was sooo slow..this site is wicked fast!

furthur is slow compared to that site but it was fast for the time. i was used to waiting days or even weeks to get shows through the mail.

seems to be ok now. this 311 im listening to now is some damn good quality. must be out of the board. got some majo DL'ing to do tonight it looks like. ;-D

no PJ though. thats kinda dissapointing. ah well cant have it all i guess.
