Tons of awful performances out there, but Simpson gets my vote for the worst of all time.

Without a doubt. Her's was downright terrible in a situation where she could have partially salvaged her integrity following the SNL debacle.

The one at the top of my head is Ashley Simpson's at the Orange Bowl.

Carl Lewis singing the National Anthem! Yeah, I remember that. I wanted to kick him the whole time!

Ozzy doing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" is awsome. It's Ozzy being, well, Ozzy.



As far as live performances that I've seen personally?

-Dokken, twice. Once a Monsters of Rock, Giants Stadium (Van Halen, Scorpions, Metallica, Dokken and Kingdom Come) and once opening for Aerosmith, Nassau Coliseum. Don Dokken's voice just sucks wihout heavy production.

-Spin Doctors, Jones Beach. Free tickets or not they sucked.

-Some local band a Lamor's East in Queens around 1986, peak of he hair band era. This drummer was banging his head and a wig fell off. Too funny.

At least with a lot of these that you are naming they are so bad they are funny like Simpson, Carl Lewis, etc.

That Slick Rick one that acsguitar described sounds like the worst to me so far. If that ever happened to me I would hold a grudge for the rest of my life.
