danny baez...where will he go?

he is being shopped by the d-rays. does anybody know where he night go? and, will he still be a closer? if you look at his stats over the past two years, he has been pretty "lights out" in that role.

I would expect the Mets to be interested. Haven't heard anything though.

Why would the Mets be interested? They just want to give the DRays more top prospects, maybe? They already brought in the bullpen pickup of the year in Danny Graves...

Add Baez to hernandez and Graves and I think the Mets would sety a record for most washed out closers on a roster.

I wouldn't be surprised if Baez went to the Cubs, who need bullpen help and have also shown interest in Huff. The Marlins wouldn't surprise me either, since they badly need bullpen help. The Mets also could be looking to get another good reliever. However, I'm not sure that he'd close on any of those teams, although there's always a chance...if I had to guess, though, I would think he'd be a middle reliever of some sort, probably a setup man.
