Nice one Mookie . No one else seemed to catch it though.
As to the derby, it's all Selig's fault yet again I'm sure. New format is horrible. They definitely could have ended up with better power hitters than what wound up on the field.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

We caught it but you know the rule, Don't feed the Mookie.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
3 1/2 hours... that's absurd. They used to bang these things out in the early to mid-90's in like an hour and a half. Chop the later rounds back down to 5 outs. Jeez.
It got boring pretty quick I think because it was stretched out for 3+ hours and the guys I rooted for just sucked. The softball game is fun to watch though.
The Spanish broadcast made the HR derby sound a lot more exciting (except for Jason Bay - even they couldn't make a ground out in a HR derby sound exciting).

I heard some of it on the radio this morning, good stuff. Anyone else who heard it picture the Simpsons episode with the soccer team and the hispanic commentators going nuts over nothing?
