Yeah, I'm majorly disappointed. I was jazzed up to watch it but now I have very little interest. No Pujols, no A-Rod, no any real sluggers at all. Even more annoying is the new scoring system- it's a different amount of points for righties/lefties depending where the ball lands. STUPID
Put the sluggers out there. Give them one point for each home run they hit. It's never been broke, why are they trying to fix it?
I think that it's a good way to get international attention and interest in the HR derby. I'll be cheering for Jason Bay, Korean fans will be cheering for Choi, the Dutch will be crowding around their TV sets cheering Andruw Jones etc. This is a great way to promote this internationally popular Olympic ....wait a sec
I actually like the 8 hitters from 8 countries format. But the different point system for lefties/righties or whatever, isn't the greatest idea. Plus, I like the competition with an underdog (choi).

I wouldn't even classify Choi as an underdog .... he's more like a filler.
