Got hit with a line drive in the chest in today's game and had to be removed. Anyone know his status?

He's really chocked of late. I'm about to waive him but i'm in a shallow 12 team league. Every year he's faded in the second half.

i'll disagree here. he blew two saves in the end of june...but he wasn't getting hit hard or anything...he was unlucky...singles that found holes in the infield and that kinda stuff. in july he has been great, he had yet to give up a run until today's game.

as for him fading after the break...yes...his career numbers do say that...last years' number also say that, but not his 03 numbers...also...remember that he was a starter for most part of his career...point is...don't drop reitsma based on his numbers not being as good in the second half of the season as they are in the first...there is no big disaparity in his numbers.

He is the closer for thh Braves who will have Hampton, Hudson and possibly Thomson returning very soon for added benefit. I can't see cutting him if healthy.
