I have two autographed baseballs my father gave that he got when he was a kid. The first one is autographed by the 1932 (??) Yankees. That was Joe Dimaggio's rookie year and Lou Gehrig was still on the team. Other noteables are Red Ruffing, Lefty Gomez, and Bill Dickey.
The second one is a real jewel. It's a miniature ball, between the size of a golf ball and a regular baseball, autographed by Babe Ruth.
These will be handed down to my two daughters when it's time.
I've got lots of autos on cards and hobby type stuff. The neatest is a cracked game used bat Sean Burroughs used and signed for me.....now if Burroughs would just go ahead and become the stud he was supposed to be....

I got a ball I caught at a Tigers game, and then got it signed by Pudge, Carlos Guillen, Keith Foulke,Rodrigo Lopez and then some crappy players, I think James Baldwin, Steve Kline,Bruce Chen, Gabe Kabler, and then this Napolean Calzado kid, who I didn't even know who he was but he is a minor leager coming up through the Orioles system, but on that particular day, I was just happy to have someone sign something. I know, probably not worth a whole lot but it is to me.

I'm a fan of Pudge, so I think that's a pretty cool ball to have.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
I don't really have a lot of signed balls but the ones I do have are pretty valuable and rare. The best one I have is a World Series ball signed by the 69' Mets. Another cool one I have is a 1986 Red Sox ball which I think I have two of. Also I have a Yaz signed ball, and as of yesterday I have a Whitey Ford signed ball.
My collection is all on postcards. I would send a letter to the ballpark and enclose a self addressed postcard for them to autograph. They are all postmarked between 1958-1962
Baseball: Ted Williams, Stan Musial, Harmon Killerbrew, Warren Spahn, Robin Roberts, Enos Slaughter, Luis Aparicio, Roger Maris, Lou Berdette, Bob Lemon, Early Winn, Rocky Colivito, Harvey Kueen, Mickey Mantle, Duke Snider, Eddie Mathews Lary Dody and others. I have a letter on Cleveland Indians stationary from Herb Score. I am very upset that I lost my Reberto Clementi
Football: Johnny Unitas, Tommy McDonald, Pat summerall, Ollie Matson
Basketball: Elgin Balyor, Bob Cousey, Dolph Schayes,Bob
Pettit, Wilt Chamberlain
Hockey:Boom Boom Gefferion, Rocket Richard
I know that many of you have never heard of some of these players
but they were all very special in thier time.
You can only imagine what it was like for a 12 year old waiting for the mailman every day to see if he had delivered any of these special goodies.
None of my autographs have ever been authticanted but they are "priceless" to me.
I would NEVER vote Pete Rose into the Hall Of Fame
