I stopped getting autographs when I got a little older. Once I realized that they put their pants on the same as mine I wasn't as impressed anymore. I just can't bring myself to asking for autographs when I realized that my time is very important to me and I am sure it's the same for them.

In high school I got Curtis Martin and Wayne Chrebet's autographs when my team visited a Jets practice. I coulda had any Jets players ones but we only had a few minutes
Bold Predictions:

Grady Sizemore will have more value than Jason Bay regardless of draft position

Aramis Ramirez in 155 G will hit over .300 40 HR 110 RBIs

Brian McCann will have more value than Jorge Posada regardless of draft position

I agree 100%.

But I still have autographs from Willie Mays, Bobby Thompson, and Will Clark.

I was hoping to get one from Bonds, but it turns out I'm white...

Back in 1994 I got Chris Chelios's autograph when I saw him at a Birmingham Barons game. He was in town to get his knee fixed at HealthSouth and decided to drop by the park to see Jordan play baseball.

Since he's a hockey player and it was Alabama, nobody recognized him and I was able to walk right up to him. :-b Very, very nice guy.

I live in Florida so Spring Training is easy for Autographs. I get them for my little boy who is 5 now. I got Chipper Jones, Furcal his rookie year, Andrew Jones, and most of the other Braves. I also have an Autograph and picture with me, my boy and Vladdy. I use to hang out near the Cardinals dugout and the year Big Mac retired I got his autograph. He would only sign 3 or 4 balls as he was leaving the field. He was signing another ball as I asked him to sign one for my son. He stopped what he was doing, took my ball, and signed it for me. I thought that was pretty cool. I brought my boy to meet Dale Murphy 2 seasons ago when he was helping the Braves out as a hitting instructor at Disney. That was cool as that was my childhood hero.

Oat Soda -- do you still live in B'ham? I moved there 11 years ago from NY, and have been one of the physical therapists there ever since (I have recently joined Dr. Andrews at St.Vincent's). Chelios is a cool guy. As a matter of fact, most of the pro hockey players have been.
