story paints a little different picture than some of the earlier stories. previous articles repeatedly mention that KMOX was upping their offer and sort of paint the cardinals as the bad guy and now you have the cardinals saying KMOX cut the amount of guaranteed money and if they had actually offered what was reported they would accept:

i am not really following it too closely since i am out of the area and use mlb.tv. i think the cards are aware of the discrepancy in broadcast range. thats why they havent done the KTRS deal already because it would clearly make them more money. they are exploring ways to get greater range with KTRS by hooking up with some other partners and stuff like that.
