Craig Wilson returns

Postby Mercer Boy » Sat Jul 09, 2005 7:05 pm

Called back up from AAA rehab assignment today. Apparently he hit two "mammoth" HR's down there, and that was all McClendon needed to hear.

David Ross was (thankfully, finally :-° ) sent down to let Wilson come up.

I don't condone actually using K-raig unless you're in dire need of HR's. :-D

Does anyone have McClendon's number? I would like to suggest that Wilson catch for a couple of games. :-D

Useful in deep leagues where you can simply spot him vs. lefties.

I'll likely be platooning Craig (vs. lefties) with Overbay (vs. righties)

Don't count on it...we had 3 catchers and just sent one down. Doumit is up here to stay unless he totally can't hack it (but he's not doing very well right now).

The best case scenario is that he'll have 1B/OF eligibility...and he'll still K a ton. :-/

I just picked up Wilson last night. He'll stay on my bech for the most part (I have Pujols and Helton at 1B.....C.Lee,B.Giles, M.Cabera, and J. Gibbons in the OF). I dropped K. Millar who I only had for a week anyway.
