usually torrents are pretty safe and in most places you get a torrent, if there's a virus, a spyware or watever in the file...someone usually posts saying so.

as for the .zip file soop...just do what perlick said...unzip all files to some folder in your computer...but make sure you know where you are unzipping it to...sometimes i unzip and forget where i put it...

How do you play movies with .avi extension?

I have pretty new Media Player and Real One.

DivX player is my personal favorite. It plays most things. VLC player (free) or Nero Showtime (not free) for .bin files and anything DivX can't play.

no questions are dumb :-)

to play an .avi file you would need to download a codec for your media player.

i'm pretty sure DivX does the trick with .avi files. download and install...get the free one, you don't need to buy it.

If you have the right codecs....but just get DivX. Its better.
