Before the DL news came out it was only being reported as a minor contusion...very surprised about this news.

Can anyone fill me in? Halladay is my ace.

ESPN Radio interviewed JP Ricciardi (sp?), and he said they expect Halladay to miss 5-6 starts, for what it's worth.

Pitching this year... weeee! Well maybe next year every pitcher ever can be grabbed low in the draft. This sucks pretty bad for Halladay owners, as he'll be out till when, mid-late August? Sure he can be of help when he gets back, but you'll be getting what, 50 more innings from him for the rest of the year? It's kinda done for him..
...Boston papers now and then suffer a sharp flurry of arithmetic on this score; indeed, for Williams to have distributed all his hits so they did nobody else any good would constitute a feat of placement unparalleled in the annals of selfishness. -Updike

If I didn't own him as my primary ace on virtually every team already. :-/

LOL , imagine if Carp takes a comebacker of the noggin in the All-Star game. Hey why not? Both the other two guys got drilled with liners.

If that happens I will have a new sig every week with my H2H opponent's SPs in it.

The Jays sent Bush down over a month ago so that wouldn't make much difference ;-)

It was very sad yesterday seeing Doc on crutches and Hudson limping around. :,-(
