The Straight Dope
It was Mythbusters before Mythbusters ever existed. You will learn so many interesting and weird things from this site. It's updated every day with either a featured post from the archives (which go back into the late 70's) or a new article.

The Perry Bible Fellowship
Out of all the webcomics I read, this is my absolute favorite. Sometimes extremely hilarious, sometimes whimsical, sometimes appaling, sometimes all three.

Outpost Nine Japanese Teacher blog
Very funny (and true) blog about an American who teaches English in Japan. Weird wild stuff. Read from the beginning so it will make sense.

and last but certainly not least:

The Hardball Times
Absolutely the best baseball page out there. Great articles, statistical analysis, off the cuff baseball humor, and statistical database. Simply unparalleled.
