Not too excited about this kid, but at least we dont have to start sturtze again. He gives up the long ball, 109 HR in 137 games in his career. But on the bright side he did beat johan santana this year.
There is some history between matsui and may that i thought was interesting.

May also played in Japan from 1998 to 2001, during which time he had a run-in with Hideki Matsui -- although there is no lingering animosity.
Pitching for Hanshin against Matsui's Yomiuri team, May hit Matsui with a pitch on the elbow. May says now he learned early on in his career in Japan that he had to come inside on Matsui to get him out.
Matsui took a few steps toward the mound in anger before going to first base -- which was a big deal in Japan because Matsui is usually so unemotional.
Matsui says now he felt he had to react.
"He had a history of hitting me several times before," Matsui said yesterday through interpreter Roger Kahlon. "And in that particular game, some of my teammates got hit, and I got hit too. I was really upset, but I needed to show we couldn't be taken lightly and I couldn't be taken lightly."
