CHICAGO fan...CHICAGO fan... I just think it is sad that the best performing team in baseball cannot even sell out its games. Perhaps if the Cubs fall totally out of contention, they will see more traffic.
Oh, and Hollandsworth looks like he should be on a Big League Chew package and that's good enough for my avatar

well when you put a stadium, with the worst upper deck in the history of stadiums, in the middle of a ghetto and surround it with no bars/resturauants attendance may be sluggish. but attendance numbers have been gaining in the last month.

btw jjaeger, having fun under .500 yet?
Getting upset when the Cubs utterly implode a few times per season is like cursing at the sun for shining. It's still great gobs of fun watching Lee terrorize pitchers and reading Greg Maddux quotes. Hey, Zambrano is the only headcase left on the team now and he's awfully entertaining. I love baseball whether my teams are on top, bottom, or both.

Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

I love how the White Sox fans think they are hot stuff now. We'll see in October, ok. (BTW, Scott Podsednik is not an all star )
What the hell? Did this thread just get hijacked by a bunch of crazy Chicagonauts?
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
