Roy Halladay (leg) will throw a bullpen session today.
Halladay was originally scheduled to throw a simulated game, but his recovery has been pushed back a bit. He will not return to the rotation tomorrow night, as has been suggested previously. Aug. 14 - 8:57 am et

Roy Halladay's session of fielding drills on Saturday didn't go well, making it unlikely that he'll return before the end of the month.
''Other than some long-toss, we're going to shut him down for four or five days,'' said pitching coach Brad Arnsberg. ''The leg just ain't ready.'' Aug. 15 - 10:05 am et

Looks like his season is effectively over, and the Jays are going to be left wondering what could have been.. :,-(

I was hoping he would come back to get in the Cy Young race.

Any word up North? Do they want him for Sept or do they want to take it slow and wait for next year?

I guess with a franchise guy like this and a team that doesn't like its chances for the playoffs, we can be sure that if he does come back he WILL be healthy.
