Most ML-ready SS prospects for '06?

Postby jnormy » Fri Jul 08, 2005 2:31 pm

I'd appreciate any insight as to which shortstop prospects out there (if any) will have the biggest impact in the major leagues in 2006. By impact, I mean a good chance of starting for a big league club, producing decent numbers, and entrenching himself as the SS of the future for that franchise. Thanks!

I should add that Hanley Ramirez is already on someone else's minor league team in my league...

if Texas trades Soriano watch for Kinsler (I think they'll move Young back to 2d)

I would have put him on the list, but he has been playing second at AAA, while Manny Alexander plays short. I figured that meant they thought of him as a 2B. If he ended up at short, I'd put him near the top of the pack. I also didn't put Adam Jones from Seattle up there because I'm betting he'll move to the outfield.
