Buehrle vs. Foppert

I'd hate to be the one singing Buehrle's praises prior to this game.

Buehrle: 4 1/3 IP, 8 ERs, 6 hits, 4 Ks, 3 BBs

Foppert: 7.1 IP, 1 ER. 1 H, 10 Ks, 5 BBs

I'd say Foppert beat the tar out of Buehrle. And at this point, I'm thinking this isn't Buehrle's year. How many times does he have to get clocked before we reach this conclusion? There's no way he'd ever find himself in my lineup right now. I know that for sure.

Meanwhile, Foppert is a FINE middle of the rotation guy. What more do you want to see from him? He's getting Ks. He's not allowing hits. So no way should he be on the WW in any 10-team league. Look for a HUGE second half for Foppert.
