ESPNews...no frills, just information. Oh yeah, and they actually show box scores, instead of just the winning and losing pitcher. The anchors are entertaining, and you don't have to worry about catching the Outdoor Games or Women's Softball or some other B.S. like you do on ESPN.

All the ESPN shows are terrible, except Outside the Lines.

Although one ESPN show that I enjoy watching is Stump the Schwaub. ;-D

i like baseball tonight as much as anyone (its my cell phone screen saver and ring tone) but i got to go with ESPN News for the reasons Phatferd said. no BS, just sports news. ESPN News is a channel that has a clear purpose and fulfills it. ESPN doesnt know what it is anymore. is it games? sports talk? tv shows? documentaries? sports movies? game shows? some of the stuff is good but most of it i dont care for. their best show in my opinion is cheap seats and they hide that on ESPN Classic meanwhile having 80 billion commercials for playmakers or tilt which should probably have been on ABC instead.

I watch ESPNews day and night. Especially, the great bottom line which keeps going during commercials... ;-D

And they show PTI, ATH on it as well.

I think ESPN is the best as they have a variety of shows plus a few baseball games a week. However I will watch ESPNews over SC.

That's the key right there, and the reason I like the Original more than the offshoots. I use the internet for boxscores and up-to-date news, so I really don't watch SC or ESPNews that much. But I'll watch ESPN for all the games.
