Melky Cabrera's looked pretty damn good so far, he's 20 and Cabrera's AA coach had this to say about him

"Cabrera will project out to 25 HR and he will absolutely win a batting title." When asked if the Yanks should trade him for a Kotsay or Encarnacion, his response "Stop. I wouldn't trade him for anyone. This is a can't miss prospect."

Take it with a grain of salt, but I'd be more than willing to give him a long time to prove himself and his defense and arm have to be better than Johnny's.

Back on topic, I'm with Francona on this one. Johnny shouldn't be opening his mouth publicly like this. I do agree with him to an extent, but he should know his place and not speak out publicly and undermine the organization.
