My team is hitter heavy and I've been able to wheel and deal for guys like Andruw Jones and Bobby Abreu and JD Drew early on. As a result, I'm solidly winning all Batting Categories.

I also have a "Batting order strategy." I figured that If I got players that hit close to eaech other in the lineup, they will have double stats. For example, I have Texas' leadoff man (Dellucci), 3 hitter (Teixiera), and Cleanup man (Blalock). If Dellucci and Tex get on base and Blalock knocks em in, I get the value of the hit in runs (2) and rbi (2). ching ching. course if they get shut out then I'm screwed, but doesn't usually happen for good hitting teams like Texas. I also have the same system for the Tigers using Polanco, Shelton, and Ordonez respectively and so far so good since Maggs has come back.

On the pitching side first off, I traded most of my good starters away early on to get the hitters, so now the only ones in my current crop I respect at all are Johnson, Loaiza, and Haren. Wood would be next, Millwood is just bad and I traded for Harang for his Ks but his ERA and WHIP have been so horrible lately that I'm thinking seriously about cutting him too. I'm in a bad spot in pitching becuase I am lagging severly in Wins, ERA, and WHIP and for the first half of the season, I shuffled in many pitchers looking for replacements to the ones I dealt which included John Patterson, Brad Penny, Brad Radke, and Rodrigo Lopez. Anyways now I'm running out of innings and don't have a good ERA and WHIP to show for it.

Tell me what you think first of all then I'd like to know what I would have to do to pry Dontrelle Willis from the number one team in the League (I'm second by 6 points today). The right hitter and starting pitcher combination ought to do it but I can't decide which two I should offer.

Offense looks very nice for a league of 11 teams. ;-D

You should be doing good in saves, right? I don't see an issue moving a closer and a bat to land someone to replace Harang, who seems to be your biggest weakness. ;-D

I should clarify...as a result of my pitching changes, I am number one in strikeouts and third in saves. My ERA and WHIP are extremely weak - bottom third. Wins are about average.
