Im in a deep league and need to know what is up with him. Could any SF fans fill me in? I checked Rotoworld, SFGiants website and Yahoo and didnt find any updates. He was suppose to be re-evaluated today. Thanks in advance if anyone knows.

I found out he's day to day and could possibly pinch hit. I am not going to bother replacing him for a day or two. Now, what to do with Womack.

With the promotion of Melky Cabrera, Womack will be relegated to a part-time role, the Yankees' official site reports.

"He can be very valuable, and we expressed that to him," manager Joe Torre said. "He's going to be on the bench, and if I ask him to go pinch-run, he's not going to stand there like a clod. He's going to go try to steal a base." The Yankees should try to deal Womack, but relegating him to the bench puts his value at an all-time low.
