Looking at a playoff spot? Good moves so far?

I've done lots of wheeling and dealing after a bad draft. I'm something like nine games out of sixth (the last playoff spot). It's a 12-team, non-keeper, h2h 5x5 league. Give me some input on how my team compares to the start of the season, and if I might actually hope to move into the playoffs now.

I think you have done a good job so far. Your offense is a ton better. Do you lose SB category regularly with Freel hurt. I doubt Taveras really carries you. I think that is where you need to make a decision. You might look to deal on Freel and Taveras to someone looking for SBs and concentrate on winning the other 9 categories.

Try to balance it out a little more. Try to move some of those SP's for a package of speed and some solid closers. I know pitching's where it's at, but you definitely need some more closers. You've got good power, but my guess is that you need some help with the AVG and SB's and SV's.

your team looks much improved. your outfield is really strong too. however, first of all, id drop wade miller. i had him pegged for a big 2nd half and he started out nice but id drop him until he shows some consistency. as some others have said you're in need of some sbs. look for speed on the waiver wire - maybe someone foolish dropped pierre early on? he could be huge in the 2nd half.
