If the term "raking" means no power whatsoever, I guess so. I don't get the excitement, what's the value of a guy who gives you virtually nothing in SBs and HRs? He is not going to hit .350 the whole season.

You are correct, in this case the term 'raking' is deliberately used in the case of a guy who doesn't hit for power. Perhaps I should have used the term 'pounding' instead. The origin of the idea is that up here I've had the opportunity to see this guy play more or less every day for the last month or so, and this guy just kills the ball on a line almost every time he does hit, he hits a ton of doubles as his balls just seem to find the gaps, and he is clutch, his numbers with runners in scoring position (and especially with two out) just dwarf everyone else on the team and put several veterans to shame. The kid is mentally tough and big-league ready, and will be playing every day from here on out guaranteed, even when Koskie returns.
I sometimes forget that a guy like Hill doesn't translate as well to fantasy as he does to real baseball, but for the Blue Jays this year he has been invaluable.
He's got an .898 OPS so its not like he has no pop. It just doesnt leave the yard. There are plenty of leagues that count OPS and/or doubles. He's got plenty of value in them and in deeper leagues.
Assuming he keeps it up that is. I keep waiting for him to get some more time at SS. That would be nice.

I don't know if it will be SS (it could be), but don't be surprised to see Hill pick some other infield eligibility after the trade deadline. Koskie will return by the end of the month and he will play 3B when that happens, and the Jays are looking to trade out either Hinske or O. Hudson in order to accomodate both Hill and R. Adams in the everyday lineup. Ricciardi views those two as the foundation of the Jays infield for years to come.
