I m reeding posts frum SF Ginats fan and wont 2 no if the skools in the Bay Areeah teech speling an gramer. He luvs PacBell but shur wont git 2 go ther this yeer as a Onor Stoodint.
I liked Wrigley, The Jake and absolutely fell in love with PNC in PIttsburgh -- hard to top that one. Our new park here (GAB in Cincy) is cool too and a very good time. A perfect blend of history and modern, I think.
Busch was kind of neutral, I thought. Not a bad experience but pretty blah, all in all (the ballpark, not the team LOL). I liked Fenway, I loved the history and the atmosphere of it but it could benfit from some renovation and updates. I'd hate to see it torn down though -- just improve it. Those bathrooms ought to be closed down by the health board.
PacBell looks cool, love to go out there.
Oh, I think my least favorite of all time has been Shea. What a boring, bland, dump.

Alright, stop knocking the Vet. Sure its a crappy place, but theres history there too. It was my first stadium, and I am gonna be a little sad to see it go. But just wait till the new field is built, the trio of Lincoln Field, the FU Center, and the Phils stadium will be an awesome sight. Theres the next top stadium set up right there
1. Fenway ( love the green monster seats)
2. Camden Yards (classic)
3. Safeco (open and classy)
4. PNC (love the topless bartenders)
5. Petco (not quite finished but is looking sweet)
Bottom 5
1. The Vet (hazard)
2. Olympic (ugly and looks like they should be doing motocross or monster trucksinstaed of baseball )
3. Qualcomm (nice weather though)
4. Skydome (just not a dome fan)
5. Wherever the twins play
I'm glad to see the Vet go. I'm not too excited about the new stadium either though because I hate the location. It's really a shame they couldn't hammer out a deal to put the stadium downtown (damn chinatown). I read that there was a possibility that they would put it on the west bank of the Schuylkill, which would have been great because I go to Penn.
Oh well, I guess I'll still have to the blue to the orange.
i've only been to one ballpark, and that's kauffman stadium here in KC. i'm not saying it's the best park in the bigs, because i really don't have anything to compare it against. but it's a beautiful stadium and there isn't a bad seat in the house. plus the food is great, but a tad overpriced (i think that's everywhere though). absolutely goregous park, gotta love the fountians.
only two votes for yankee stadium?
you guys are on the crack!
wrigley and fenway got more votes why? because they have stupid walls? yankee stadium is the BEST stadium. period.
and itsa also NOT a hitters park. ask dave winfield (or any other right handed hitter) if its a hitters park.
conversely, shea is a HORRIBLE stadium. its UGLY. and its right next to an airport so that every two minutes there is another plane flying overhead and you cant hear anything.
san diego and arizona are also awful because of palm trees and swimming pools.
and montreal and oakland because theyre always empty.
