Im gonna have to go with my hometown on this one Orlando is horrible and no one supports the Magic. They want a new arena and I know thatll never happen so it looks like in a few years we will just have frigging Mickey Mouse and thats all. That would suck. Is there any city worse than us?

Yeah, just because Philly fans are tough and rude and angry doesn't mean Philly is a bad sports town. There's lots of passion for their teams, no way is it a bad sports town. From what I can tell, some place in Florida would have to qualify as the worst.
I was listening to some sports talk radio yesterday on my drive home and they were talking about how it is so hard for a Pro sports team to survive in New Orleans. Not because of a lack of fan support but because there is no big business in the area. There isn't a Fortune 500 company located in the state.

I'm not from Philly, but from what I have seen I would hate to be a pro athlete there. I am from St. Louis and the two cities seem to be polar opposites. It just seems as if fans in Philly are way to harsh and judgemental. I get the feeling that fans almost prefer to root against their teams than for them. The fans in Philly are the quickest to turn against their own team and start booing them. From a sportsmanship perspective, Philly has to be the worst.
The worst sports town would have to be Miami. I lived there for some years and would have to say the situation there is miserable. Fans only care to follow their teams when they are winning. It is unbelievable. The Marlins have had poor attendance since they started, except for a few months in '97 and '03. The Dolphins' games are regularly blacked out because no one goes to the games, and the Heat needed to bring Shaq in to draw interest, even after a new arena had been built.

I was just about to say New Orleans. Good call.
I heard rumors about them moving sometime soon..Anyone know if this is true?
