Giving Lopez a day or two off a week is only good for him. Yeah, it sucks not having his offense everyday, but he is brittle. It used to be that Maddux just didn't like pitching to him, now it is more of a case of the Braves keeping Javy fresh the whole year. However, it is frustrating as a fantasy owner.
Go Braves.

Lopez has just been tearing it up this year. 18 homers! That's seven more than he hit all last year! I vote for resigning his ass to a one-year deal. That'll keep him on his toes!

I think he's been amazing, but I don't think he can keep up his 48 HR pace. I already had I-rod at catcher, so I dealt Javy/Chavez for Abreu/Rolen. I think he'll go down for a few weeks and/or cool off, all his indicators point to a downturn (previous performance indicators).

I gave up Kendall for Javy and MacDougall about 6 weeks ago. Awesome!
