Updated news.....
Hudson (strained left oblique) threw a simulated game on Wednesday and reported no major problems. "I'll throw another simulated game this weekend, stretch it out a little more, maybe go three-plus innings," he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. "I want to be ready to go full-strength late into games right when I get back."
If all goes well it sounds like Hudson could return in about two weeks. That's the best-case scenario, but he's making progress after taking some time off to let the injury rest.
Hampton (forearm) threw a simluated game on Wednesday and reported to major problems, the team's official web site reports.
If Hampton doesn't feel any major soreness the next few days, he'll throw another simulated game during the All-Star break and could return the week after.
