Burrell is the safer option, IMO. Maggs is no lock to stay healthy, and may need a good deal of time to find a groove. Meanwhile, Burrell gets to play half the time in that Philly launch pad.
I just don't see the risk/reward on Ordonez being high enough to warrant him over Burrell...not saying he can't be the better guy, as is clearly more talented, but it's a gamble that has more downside than upside.
I'd take magglio for consistency (and I'm not talking health ) , and burrell if you have a solid backup. i think that there is just as much risk/reward with burrell. with a streaky guy like him you have to be able to provide a replacement while he is slumping, so if you have an extra OF go with him.
As stated before, Burrell is extremely streaky. That said, if you can afford to leave him on the bench during his cold spots, I'd definately take Burrell and play him when he's hot. If you cant waste the extra roster spot, I think Ordonez is the way to go. If he is healthy (which is still a big question mark), Ordonez will definately outperform Burrell for the rest of the year.
Oh, and next time, try the Trade/Draft/Waivers forum. It keeps the Leftovers full of relevant information to all.
