thanks for the clarification. although I can't imagine why Abreu is available in the 5th round. I would think that he would be on somebody's top 4 list..

Usually, but that would depend on who their other keepers are.

let me try to explain my mock draft...
i joined a keeper league this year, which is replacing 4 teams...i picked up jeter,tejada,smoltz,sweeney in the expansion draft and get the #1 pick when we daft FA.
the best available player is abreu, and i'll definitely be taking him to start...
in the mock, i was certain he would not come to me at the end of round 2, and i was hoping to draft my 4 keepers in roubds 2-5( i was 2 & 4 picks from getting jeter & tejada at 2&3)...had i gotten them, my intention was to continue the mock and see if the players i have in mind at each round would actually be available when i think they will...i realize this is very much flawed, in that these are completely different people i'm drafting with...but i reasoned that it would be the best simulation i could come up with...when my plan fell apart almost immediately, i had to continue, and feel that i recovered ok...i want to appologize for skewing any "cheatsheets" with my selfish motives, and for jeopardizing the integrity of the draft...thank you all for allowing me to participate.
