Mel will retire after the season, Cashman probably won't return after the season, Torre isn't going anywhere, and so far it looks like Mattingly is doing a good job.
You guys have a lot of faith in Steinbrenner. I don't think Donny's going anywhere either, but I'd be surprised if Mel were still coaching next week. I agree, Torre's probably sticking around, but nothing would surprise me at this point- Girardi's certainly capable of stepping up at a moment's notice if Steinbrenner decides to use the Nuclear Option
The Yankees are 4 games out of first place. And there's only 4 more games until the AS Break. So obviously nobody is going anywhere before the AS Break, and IMO nobody's going anywhere after either.
They've won 4 in a row so far, are within striking distance of both the AL East, and the Wildcard. Barring a major collapse and miss of the playoffs, nobody's getting fired.
