Biddle removed as Expos closer?

I don't think either Biddle or Lyon has lost their jobs.

It's been a tough weekend to be a Red Sox starter. The pen has been worked to death because of it. Ignore whatever voodoo they used today to get the job done.

Either could lose their job at some point I guess, but it probably won't be an out of the blue kind of thing.

Biddle was brought in early to spare the bullpen extra work. When he started to get tired they brought in Ayala, who ended up getting the save. I believe they expected Biddle to close the game, however he just couldn't make it to the end.

Luis Ayala got the save for the Expos tonight. Rocky Biddle pitched two scoreless innings to set him up.
Biddle blew a save in his last appearance, but this shouldn't mean that he's losing his job. Manager Frank Robinson probably decided to bring him into the game in the seventh because of how tired the bullpen was. Since Biddle walked three, he wasn't able to finish the game, and Ayala pitched a perfect ninth for his first career save.
