For the 1st time since the DH came into effect in 1973, the NL has a higher era then the AL. Think about it, a dh versus a hack pitcher. Part of it is probably the new smaller stadiums the NL has opened.

That's a pretty compelling statistic. A lot of times AL v. NL pitchers play at least a small factor when drafting, trading early or in the off-season, etc. I suppose those who weight it even heavier than that (along with guys who weight strength of schedule on the Indians and the Blue Jays from here on out :-b ) may want this method of decision making to carry a tad less water from here on out.
